Telecommunications giant Huawei has been assured of the Chinese government’s full support in its legal challenge against the U.S. Addressing the annual National People’s Congress, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi pledged full government support. An excerpt from Yi’s translated statements reads: China has and will continue to take all necessary measures to resolutely protect the legitimate and lawful interests of Chinese businesses and citizens.
